Build the mortgage division of an established finance business
Finwave Mortgage Solutions is the new mortgage arm of Finwave, an established commercial, asset and consumer finance business. The mortgage division is still in its build stage. That's the opportunity.
You won't be starting from scratch. You'll be backed by a 1,000+ existing client base, 100+ new enquiries entering the broader Finwave business each month, internal referral opportunities and an established Adelaide finance brand.
Many of those existing relationships have never had a mortgage conversation with Finwave.
We're looking for an experienced Mortgage Broker who can identify those opportunities, convert new mortgage enquiries and build their own referral relationships alongside them.
This role suits a proactive broker who wants to build a substantial mortgage portfolio and play a key role in shaping a growing division.

About the role
- Manage mortgage enquiries from initial contact through to approval and settlement
- Proactively engage the existing Finwave client and enquiry base to identify mortgage opportunities
- Build referral relationships across Finwave's internal teams and your own external network
- Understand client circumstances and structure appropriate lending solutions
- Prepare, submit and proactively manage lender applications through to settlement
- Build and manage your own mortgage pipeline
- Refer asset, commercial and business finance opportunities back into the broader Finwave team
- Maintain strong compliance, file quality and client communication standards
- Help shape the systems and processes used to grow the mortgage division
What we're looking for
- Minimum 2 years' experience as an accredited Mortgage Broker
- Current ASIC credit representative or ACL holder status
- Certificate IV in Finance and Mortgage Broking, with Diploma preferred
- Strong residential lending, credit and lender policy knowledge
- A track record of converting opportunities into settlements
- Experience building or growing a client base, book or referral network
- Confidence proactively engaging current and existing clients
- Strong relationship management and communication skills
- High standards of compliance and file quality
- The ability to operate independently while contributing to a broader finance team
- Australian permanent residency or citizenship
