About the role

Same Day Tree Works is seeking a reliable and hardworking truck driver/Grounds person to join our busy tree-services team. This position is ideal for someone who is confident behind the wheel and equally willing to get their hands dirty assisting with general ground work.

Key responsibilities

- Driving a manual Medium Rigid truck

- Safely towing and reversing a 3.5-tonne trailer

- Manoeuvring confidently through narrow streets and driveways

- Transporting equipment and green waste

- Assisting the crew with general tree ground work

- Dragging branches, feeding the woodchipper and completing site clean-ups

- Following workplace health and safety procedures

About you

- A current MR licence or higher

- Strong manual-driving skills

- Confidence towing and reversing trailers

- Your own active ABN

- Robust work ethic and good physical fitness

- Reliability, punctuality and a positive attitude
- The ability to work well as part of a team

- Previous experience in tree services, landscaping, construction or another labour-intensive role would be beneficial but is not essential
