About the role

Are you an experienced Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance professional who thrives on solving complex business challenges and shaping high-impact ERP solutions? Wild Tech is looking for a Dynamics 365 Finance Functional Architect to join our Consulting team and become a trusted adviser to our clients. Reporting to the Head of Solutions, you will partner with finance leaders, implementation consultants and technical specialists to translate business needs into practical, scalable solutions across Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Supply Chain Management. From discovery and design through testing, cutover and ongoing optimisation, you will help clients get lasting value from their Microsoft investment.

What you’ll do

- Lead engaging workshops with finance stakeholders to capture requirements and shape the application solution.
- Translate business needs into functional designs and solution blueprints aligned with industry best practice and D365 capabilities.
- Configure and validate Finance and Supply Chain modules, guiding clients through testing, training and cutover.
- Collaborate with Technical Architects and Integration Leads to support seamless data flows across HR, supply chain, banking and other systems.
- Provide functional leadership across multi-phase ERP programs, managing risks, dependencies and design decisions.
- Produce high-quality functional documentation, including FRDs,



BPMLs and test scripts, and support user adoption.
- Contribute to pre-sales solution architecture, scoping, estimation and demonstrations.
- Enable effective knowledge transfer and a smooth handover to Managed Services after go-live.

What you’ll bring

- Deep knowledge of accounting principles and finance operations, including IFRS/GAAP, statutory reporting and taxation
- Strong expertise across D365 Finance modules, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Budgeting, Procurement, Financial Reporting, Group Consolidations and Project Accounting.
- Excellent communication, workshop facilitation and stakeholder engagement skills, with confidence working with CFOs, Finance Managers and technical teams.
- The ability to balance solution best practice with pragmatic client requirements.
- A team-oriented, proactive approach and the ability to lead, mentor and coach others in complex program environments.

Experience and qualifications

- At least five years’ experience in systems administration or accounting/finance processing.
- At least four years’ experience with Microsoft platforms and ERP solutions.
- Demonstrated experience delivering projects with multiple stakeholders and a sound understanding of cloud technology.
- Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Solution Architect certifications.




- A bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Technology is desirable; CA/CPA qualifications and professional association membership are highly regarded.
- Pre-sales experience and knowledge of emerging Microsoft technologies—including Finance Agents, BPA, Power BI, Power Apps and Power Automate—are advantageous.
- Experience with Dataverse/Common Data Service, Dual-write, virtual entities, Dynamics 365 CE or Project Operations is beneficial.
- Exposure to manufacturing, warehouse management or supply chain environments is also beneficial.
