Central Coast Compassionate Care is seeking an experienced Service Manager to provide leadership across our NDIS operations, service delivery, workforce and compliance functions.
We are a small, close-knit and cohesive service with a genuinely positive workplace culture, where staff work collaboratively and support one another. This role would suit someone who enjoys being part of a friendly, hands-on team and working closely with management and frontline staff to achieve positive outcomes for participants.
This is a senior management position suited to someone with strong NDIS knowledge and demonstrated experience managing services within an NDIS provider. Working closely with the Director, the Service Manager will help ensure services are delivered safely, effectively and in line with participant needs, organisational requirements and the NDIS Practice Standards.
Demonstrated NDIS management experience is essential.
About the Role The Service Manager will oversee the day-to-day operation of our NDIS services, including:
Leading and supporting NDIS service delivery.
Providing operational leadership and guidance to staff.
Maintaining compliance with the NDIS Practice Standards, NDIS Code of Conduct and relevant requirements.
Supporting NDIS audit, registration and compliance readiness.
Overseeing incidents, complaints, risks and continuous improvement activities.
Ensuring participant files and documentation remain current and audit-ready.
Overseeing participant intake, onboarding and service commencement.
Providing oversight of rostering, workforce capacity and service continuity.
Supporting recruitment, onboarding, supervision and performance management.
Monitoring staff training and workforce compliance.
Managing service delivery issues and stakeholder concerns.
Building relationships with Support Coordinators, Plan Managers, allied health professionals and other stakeholders.
Supporting referrals, participant intake and sustainable service growth.
Monitoring participant funding and ensuring services remain within approved funding.
Reporting to the Director and supporting continuous improvement across the organisation.
About You
You will be an experienced NDIS manager with strong leadership skills, sound judgement and the ability to manage competing operational priorities with a high level of autonomy.
Essential requirements include
Minimum 3 years’ management experience within an NDIS provider in service management, operations, compliance or a comparable leadership role.
Strong understanding of the NDIS Practice Standards and NDIS Code of Conduct.
Experience managing NDIS service delivery and participant supports.
Experience leading staff within disability or community services.
Knowledge of participant documentation, compliance, incidents, complaints, risk management and safeguarding.
Knowledge of the SCHADS Award and workforce requirements.
Solid communication, organisational and problem-solving skills.
Experience preparing an NDIS provider for registration or certification audits will be highly regarded.
Qualifications in Community Services, Disability, Human Services, Business Management, Quality Management or a related field will also be highly regarded.
Mandatory Requirements The successful applicant must hold or be willing to obtain:
NDIS Worker Screening Check.
National Police Check.
Working with Children Check where required.
Current unrestricted driver licence.
