Are you humble enough to keep learning, hungry enough to keep improving, and smart enough to build genuine relationships with patients and the people around you?
DC Physiotherapy in Willoughby is looking for a motivated Physiotherapist who wants to become an exceptional clinician, build a loyal caseload and create a successful long-term career in private practice. You’ll join an established, family-run clinic where clinical development, patient outcomes and team culture genuinely matter.
We don’t expect you to know everything on day one. What matters more is your attitude: being open to feedback, willing to put in the work, curious about becoming better and able to communicate well with patients and your team.
Through a structured three-month onboarding program, weekly one-to-one mentoring, fortnightly team in-services and ongoing professional development, we’ll help you develop the clinical, communication and private-practice skills needed to thrive.
This is a full-time position suitable for an early-career Physiotherapist, new graduate or soon-to-be graduate, as well as clinicians with more experience who align with the way we work.
About You
- You are humble - you are open to feedback, willing to ask questions and understand there is always more to learn.
- You are hungry - you are motivated to improve, take initiative and want to build a career rather than simply turn up for a job.
- You are smart with people - you communicate well, read situations appropriately and build genuine relationships with patients and teammates.
- You care deeply about achieving meaningful patient outcomes.
- You want to build a successful long-term career in private practice.
- You welcome feedback and are willing to actually put it into practice.
- You enjoy being part of a supportive, accountable and high-performing team.
- You take ownership of your responsibilities and follow through on commitments.
- You are curious and committed to ongoing clinical and professional development.
- You are willing to contribute to the growth of your own caseload and the wider clinic.
- You value high standards while remaining approachable, collaborative and willing to help others.
We are looking for someone motivated by more than financial incentives alone. The right person will value professional growth, excellent patient care, strong relationships and the opportunity to build a career they can genuinely be proud of.
Essential Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physiotherapy.
- Current AHPRA registration before commencing.
- Appropriate professional indemnity insurance.
- APA membership is encouraged but not essential.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Willingness and openness to learn and apply feedback.
- A commitment to evidence-based practice and developing strong clinical reasoning.
- Interest in assessing and managing a broad range of musculoskeletal conditions and sporting injuries.
- Open to contribute to caseload growth through excellent patient care, professional relationships, community engagement and clinic-supported marketing
Current graduates and soon-to-be graduates are encouraged to apply. We are far more interested in finding the right person with the right attitude than someone who simply has the longest CV.

We are intentional about creating a supportive, professional and non-corporate environment where team members are known, valued and encouraged to develop.

That’s why we place a strong emphasis on helping our team develop skills in areas such as:
- Professional communication.
- Goal setting and accountability.
- Developing confidence as a clinician.
- Caseload management and retention.
- Patient communication and education.
- Private-practice systems and workflows.
- Clinical reasoning and treatment planning.
- Building patient trust and long-term therapeutic relationships.

- Three-Month Structured Onboarding Program: Your first three months include structured onboarding with weekly meetings focused on clinical development, communication, patient management,
systems and private-practice skills.

- Fortnightly Team In-Services: Regular team education sessions provide opportunities for clinical discussion, practical learning, case reviews and sharing knowledge across the team.
- Extensive Learning Resources: You’ll receive access to additional professional development and learning resources including Physio Network, Private Practice Apprenticeship, internal training portals, in-house education and clinic learning resources.
- Professional Development Allowance: You will receive a $1,000 annual career development allowance for the right candidate, with external training selected to support your clinical interests and career goals.
- Genuine Career Growth: As you develop, opportunities may include building an area of clinical interest, mentoring others, community and sporting partnerships, service development, team education or leadership responsibilities.
- Attractive Salary and Incentives: The expected salary range is approximately $80,000-$110,000 plus superannuation, depending on experience, capability and the final structure of the role. You’ll receive the security of a base salary with reward incentives available as your caseload, skills and contribution to the clinic grow.
- Supportive Team Culture: You’ll join a team that values accountability, high standards, collaboration and celebrating progress. We want people who work hard, support each other and enjoy being part of the team.
- Work-Life Balance: We understand the importance of maintaining a sustainable career and provide flexibility around treating hours where operationally possible. Saturday work is a required component of this role.
