NUHAIRCO is looking for a bubbly, motivated and passionate 1st Year Apprentice Hairdresser to join our team!

If you’re someone who loves all things hair, enjoys being around people and is excited to learn, we’d love to hear from you.

No previous hairdressing experience is required — we’re looking for someone with the right attitude, a willingness to learn and a genuine passion for building a career in hairdressing.

ABOUT US

NUHAIRCO is a young, vibrant and busy salon located in Mt Claremont. We opened our doors 6 years ago and have built a friendly, loyal clientele and a fun team setting.

We’re passionate about giving our apprentices the best possible start to their hairdressing career.

From day one, you’ll be learning and developing your skills alongside our experienced stylists. You won’t just be making coffees and sweeping floors — you’ll be getting hands-on experience in the salon, learning the fundamentals of hairdressing and gradually taking on more as your skills grow.

You’ll also attend TAFE 1 day a week as part of your apprenticeship.

WHAT YOU’LL LEARN ✨

Throughout your apprenticeship, you’ll have the opportunity to learn all aspects of hairdressing, including:

- Shampooing & basin work
- Blow-drying & styling
- Colouring & foiling
- Cutting
- Hair treatments
- Hair extensions
- Keratin straightening
- Client communication & salon skills
- And so much more!

You’ll receive ongoing training and support from our team, as well as additional education through Kérastase, Redken, GHD and TAFE.

As your confidence and skills grow, so will your responsibilities and opportunities within the salon.
