About the role

We are looking for four experienced Senior .NET Developers to join a Canberra-based ICT team supporting critical enterprise applications and ongoing technology initiatives. You will work across the sustainment, enhancement and delivery of business-critical systems, contributing to both existing applications and new development work. The role suits a strong full stack developer with solid Microsoft .NET and Vue.js experience who is comfortable working across on-premises and cloud environments. You will work within an Agile delivery team and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Experience leading technical teams or contributing to solution design will be highly regarded.

Key responsibilities

n

n
- Design, develop, enhance and maintain full stack applications using .NET, Vue.js, JavaScript and TypeScript.
n
- Develop solutions across on-premises and cloud-based environments.
n
- Contribute to system and software design across complex enterprise applications.
n
- Build secure applications aligned with least privilege principles, the Australian Government Information Security Manual and OWASP practices.
n
- Establish and maintain source code repositories.
n
- Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines for software deployment.
n
- Work with Azure DevOps for development processes, work management and task governance.
n
- Support application sustainment, enhancements and priority project delivery.
n
- Work closely with developers, technical specialists and business stakeholders within an Agile multidisciplinary team.
n
- Manage multiple high-priority work items while maintaining quality and delivery standards.
n
- Participate in an agreed after-hours on-call roster, including some weekends and public holidays.
n

Desirable criteria

- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
n
- Experience leading solution design activities.

- Previous experience leading or supporting ICT technical teams.
n
- Experience working within an Australian Government or APS setting.
n
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and deliver agreed business outcomes.
n
- Experience working within Agile and multidisciplinary delivery teams.
n
- Strong communication skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
n
- Relevant Microsoft, software development or cloud platform certifications.
n

Skills and experience

n

n
- Five or more years of professional .NET development experience.
n
- Strong full stack development experience using Microsoft .NET technologies.
n
- Demonstrated experience designing and developing applications using Vue.js and .NET.
n
- Strong experience with modern reactive JavaScript and TypeScript frameworks, particularly Vue.js.
n
- Experience developing solutions across both on-premises and cloud environments.
n
- Strong knowledge of secure application development, Cyber ISM requirements, least privilege principles and OWASP.
n
- Experience establishing and managing software repositories.
n
- Hands-on experience developing CI/CD pipelines.
n
- Strong understanding of Azure DevOps processes and task governance.
n
- Experience contributing to systems design, software design and complex application development.
n
