About the Centre

n

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Centre Director to lead a well-established and family owned early childhood education service in Box Hill. This is a rewarding opportunity for a confident and energetic leader who thrives in a structured, dynamic environment and enjoys building strong connections with families and teams.

Your Role

n

As Centre Director, you will be responsible for the overall operations and leadership of the centre. You'll ensure the delivery of high-quality programs, build meaningful relationships with families, support and mentor your team, and work closely with your operations support contact to continue strengthening the centre's culture and performance.

Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Lead the daily operations of the centre, ensuring compliance and quality standards are met.
n
- Build strong, trusting relationships with families, children, and educators.
n
- Mentor, support and manage a team of passionate early childhood professionals.
n
- Drive occupancy growth and lead enrolment strategies.
n
- Oversee budgeting, rosters, and centre administration.
n
- Collaborate with your operations support manager to implement effective centre-wide strategies.
n

Who You Are

n

n




- A qualified Diploma-level educator (or higher).
n
- A minimum of 2 years' experience as a Centre Director/Nominated Supervisor.
n
- Proven success managing large, high-capacity early learning centres—ideally within a corporate or structured provider setting.
n
- Strong understanding of EYLF, NQS, and compliance frameworks.
n
- Flexible, cooperative, and direct leadership style with a focus on mentorship and accountability.
n
- Excellent communication skills and a commitment to building a positive team culture.
n
