We are seeking an Occupational Health and Safety Superintendent to join our team, based within our Perth office, with site visits as required.

The Role

Reporting to the General Manager, Occupational Health and Safety, you will be responsible for delivering strategic and tactical leadership on work health and safety compliance to support operations in achieving a systematic approach to the mitigation of risk. You will manage workplace health and safety activities in accordance with all external and legal requirements and develop capability with subordinates and management and deliver continuous improvement projects.

Gylden Resources, a subsidiary of Andel Resources, is an emerging gold producer preparing to pour first gold from the Kirkalocka Processing Facility near Mount Magnet in Q1 CY2027.





Kirkalocka has been established as a regional processing hub, with the capability to treat oxide, transitional and fresh ores from both our own mining operations and third-party producers through toll treatment arrangements. Our integrated business spans mining, haulage, processing and contract services, providing a diverse and sustainable operating platform.

With funding secured and a significant capital investment program underway, we are progressing the refurbishment and expansion of the Kirkalocka Processing Facility while continuing to grow our mining and toll treatment portfolio. This creates genuine long-term opportunities for people who want to be part of building a modern gold operation from the ground up.

About You

Background & Experience

- Significant experience in a similar role within the resources sector, including exposure to processing and mining operations
- Previous tenure with managing safety teams, inclusive of contractors, consultants and suppliers across multiple geographical locations and rosters
- Knowledge and understanding of WHS legislation, quality systems, reporting requirements, regulations, codes of practice and licence requirements
- Demonstrable skillset in hazard identification, risk assessments, managing high-risk activities, emergency response planning and emergency management.
- Previous experience in developing and managing programs including fitness for work, injury prevention, occupational hygiene, health surveillance and return-to-work processes.
- Competent in monitoring relevant changes to legislation, regulations and standards, and implementing and communicating updates to required personnel.
- Broad understanding and experience in coaching practices and visible leadership to strengthen safety behaviours and frontline risk management.

- Diploma of Work Health and Safety (Minimum)
- Workplace Training and Assessing TAE40122
- WA Drivers Licence
- ISO 45001 (Desirable)
- Senior First Aid
