Role Description This full-time Occupational Therapist role is based in the Greater Brisbane Area and offered as a hybrid position, combining on-site work with some flexibility to work from home.

The Occupational

Therapist will assess participants’ functional abilities, develop individualized intervention plans, and deliver therapy to support daily living, mobility, and participation in meaningful activities. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting assessments in homes and community settings, implementing rehabilitation programs, documenting progress, and collaborating with families, support coordinators, and other health professionals. The role also involves providing education on adaptive equipment and strategies, contributing to NDIS reporting requirements,



and supporting participants in achieving their NDIS goals. The therapist will maintain professional standards, follow evidence-based practices, and actively contribute to a positive, inclusive team culture.

Qualifications

- Strong clinical skills in Occupational Therapy, including assessment, intervention planning, and delivery.
- Knowledge of Rehabilitation principles and practice, with experience supporting people with disabilities.
- Foundational understanding of Medicine relevant to disability and functional health, and ability to work collaboratively with medical and allied health professionals.
- Excellent Communication skills, including explicit documentation, report writing, and the ability to build rapport with participants, families, and stakeholders.
- Experience or interest in Paediatrics, supporting children and young people under NDIS.
- Recognized degree in Occupational Therapy and current registration or eligibility for registration with the relevant professional board (AHPRA)
- Understanding of NDIS frameworks, person-centred practice, and safeguarding principles.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team, with strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Current driver’s license and willingness to travel within the Greater Brisbane Area for participant visits.
