New Identified Graduate Occupational Therapy Opportunity – Make a Difference An exciting 12-month opportunity for an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander Occupational Therapist graduate to build clinical skills with dedicated support across Metro South Health.

About This Role

Your new role

As a New Graduate Occupational Therapist, you'll join the Occupational Therapy Department across Princess Alexandra, Logan or QEII Jubilee Hospital and develop your clinical skills within a supportive, interprofessional environment. You'll provide evidence-based assessment and intervention, contribute to patient-centred care and take part in structured learning, professional development and service improvement.

Key Responsibilities

- Deliver occupational therapy assessment, intervention and discharge planning under senior clinical guidance.
- Manage an allocated caseload while developing clinical judgement and professional expertise.
- Collaborate with patients, families and multidisciplinary teams to achieve positive outcomes.
- Participate in the state-wide OT new graduate program, quality improvement and research activities.

About You You're a motivated recent graduate Occupational Therapist ready to build your career in a supportive public health environment. You bring strong communication skills, a commitment to learning and a genuine focus on culturally responsive, person-centred care. Skills & Experience

- Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy and AHPRA registration.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills within an interprofessional environment.
- Ability to apply evidence-based practice and develop clinical knowledge.
- Commitment to ongoing learning,



professional development and patient-centred care.
- This is an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander Identified position. Applicants must meet the requirements of the identified role under the Queensland Anti-Discrimination Act 1991.
