Your New Role

Reporting directly to the Program Director, you will lead a key operational excellence and transformation stream, driving sustainable business improvement and remediation initiatives across multiple business functions. You'll work closely with executives, operational leaders, subject matter experts, and assurance teams to deliver meaningful organisational change.

Key responsibilities include

- Leading operational excellence, business transformation, and remediation initiatives.
- Reviewing and redesigning end-to-end business processes and ways of working.
- Identifying root causes of operational inefficiencies and implementing sustainable improvements.
- Driving stakeholder engagement across executive, operational, technical, and governance teams.
- Managing complex change programs in environments where resistance to change may exist.
- Developing stakeholder engagement, adoption, and implementation strategies.
- Managing relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
- Translating strategic objectives into practical delivery plans and measurable outcomes.

What You'll Need to Succeed You will be a seasoned transformation leader with a proven track record of delivering complex business improvement initiatives within large and complex organisations.

You'll bring

- Significant experience leading operational excellence, business transformation, remediation,



or organisational improvement programs.
- Exceptional stakeholder engagement and influencing skills, with the ability to drive outcomes through collaboration rather than authority.
- Experience working within complex governance and regulatory environments.
- Strong organisational design, process improvement, and change leadership capability.
- Practical knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, Agile, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
- Outstanding communication, facilitation, and executive stakeholder management skills.
- The resilience and maturity to navigate ambiguity, competing priorities, and organisational resistance.

Essential Requirements
- Australian Citizenship is mandatory due to security clearance requirements.
- Comfortable working in office a minimum of three days per week to build stakeholder relationships and support program delivery.
- Large-scale transformation experience
- Operational excellence / business improvement programs
- Organisational redesign experience
- Significant stakeholder management at executive level
- Experience overcoming change resistance
- Highly regulated environments (government, utilities, infrastructure, transport, energy, defence, healthcare, higher education)

Desirable
- Lean Six Sigma Certification
- Baseline Clearance
