NSW Operations Manager | Restoration

Sydney NSW Senior Leadership Role | Company Vehicle | National Business The Cowan Restoration Group is one of Australia's leading restoration companies, providing water, fire, mould, contents, catastrophe and specialist restoration services to the insurance industry nationwide.

Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced and motivated Operations Manager to lead our NSW operations team based in Sydney.

This is a key leadership role responsible for the day-to-day management of operational staff, scheduling, resource allocation, performance, client relationships and service delivery across New South Wales.

About the Role

Reporting to the Managing Director, you will be responsible for:

- Leading and managing Supervisors, Technicians and Operational staff across NSW
- Driving operational performance, productivity and service delivery
- Overseeing scheduling, labour planning and resource allocation
- Managing workloads to ensure KPI and client expectations are achieved
- Supporting major loss and large-scale restoration projects
- Building strong relationships with insurers, assessors, builders and clients
- Monitoring job profitability, labour utilisation and operational costs
- Identifying opportunities for continuous improvement and business growth
- Ensuring compliance with company procedures, WHS requirements and industry standards




- Coaching, mentoring and developing staff to achieve high performance

About You

To be successful in this role you will have:
- Previous experience in an Operations Manager, Restoration Manager, Service Manager or similar leadership position
- Strong people management and leadership skills
- Experience managing operational teams in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Ability to prioritise workloads and make decisions under pressure
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Experience within Restoration, Insurance, Building, Construction or Trade Services industries highly regarded
- IICRC qualifications highly regarded but not essential
- Current Driver's Licence
- Police Check
