Operations Support Manager Hop Products Australia (HPA) is Australia’s largest hop producer; growing, processing and packaging hops for brewers around the world.
About the role
We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Operations Support Manager to coordinate the day-to-day administrative and operational support functions of our Victorian farming and processing operations.
Reporting to the Farm Manager and leading a small administrative team, you will provide critical support to the Farm Manager, Processing Facility Manager and General Manager Operations. Acting as a central point of communication across the business, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring our operations run efficiently, safely and compliantly.
This is a full-time, site-based position located my Myrtleford Victoria.
Responsibilities include
- Lead and support a small administration team, ensuring efficient delivery of operational and administrative support services across the Victorian farming and processing operations.
- Provide high-level operational support to the Farm Manager, Processing Facility Manager and General Manager Operations, assisting in the coordination of day-to-day business activities and priorities.
- Act as a central point of communication between management, employees, contractors, suppliers and other key stakeholders.
- Collate,
verify and analyse operational and production data to support reporting, continuous improvement and business decision making.
- Support operational teams to maintain compliance with company procedures, management systems and reporting requirements by monitoring records, identifying gaps and following up corrective actions.
- Coordinate office administration, procurement activities and contractor compliance requirements, including onboarding documentation, licences and insurances.
- Lead seasonal workforce administration activities, including recruitment coordination, onboarding and employee record management.
- Maintain HR and payroll information within Employment Hero, provide payroll administration support and coordinate workers compensation and Return to Work activities.
- Facilitate and participate in audits, meetings, investigations and continuous improvement initiatives across safety, quality and operational management systems.
