Join the global leader in mobile operator training solutions for the mining industry. Servicing the Gulf of Carpentaria, Northern Territory, on a FIFO roster out of Darwin, this position will work directly on a mine site to ensure simulator-based operator training is delivered safely, effectively, and in accordance with the training plan.

About the Role

We are seeking a motivated Mobile Operator Trainer Facilitator to:

- Deliver training to both new and experienced heavy mining equipment (HME) operators.
- Utilise high-fidelity simulation technology to enhance operator competency, confidence, and safety.
- Coordinate day-to-day training activities and ensure training schedules are delivered effectively.

Reporting to our Customer Success Manager, you will work closely with our regional team to deliver hands on simulator-based training and assessments. Your experience operating surface heavy mining equipment and developing mobile equipment operators with a robust focus on safety, productivity, and machine care will be critical to your success.

Key Responsibilities

- Deliver engaging and effective simulator-based operator training.
- Conduct operator assessments and provide constructive coaching and feedback.
- Coordinate and maintain training schedules to meet operational requirements.
- Promote safe operating practices, machine care, and continuous improvement.
- Maintain accurate training records and reports.

Requirements





- 2–3 years' experience in surface mining operational training.
- Strong understanding of surface mining operations and industry best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate adult learners.
- Demonstrated commitment to workplace health, safety, and safe work practices.

Desirable

- Previous experience operating surface heavy mining equipment.
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40122 or equivalent).
- Confident using computers and technology, with the ability to support learners using tech-based training solutions.
