Eastern Heart Clinic is looking for a reliable, energetic and well-presented Operations Assistant to join our busy Cardiac Catheter Laboratory. This is a wide-ranging and rewarding role where you’ll play an important part in supporting our clinical team and ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the lab.
About the role
Your duties will include:
- Supporting patient movement and care throughout their procedure
- Preparing and maintaining clinical areas
- Cleaning and infection control duties
- Stock control
- Assisting nurses and clinical staff
- General theatre and operational support
Previous orderly, theatre,
hospital or healthcare experience is highly regarded, but training will be provided to the right person. We’re looking for someone who is fit, organised, reliable and flexible, with a positive attitude and a genuine enjoyment of working with people. Essential requirements
You must:
- Meet NSW Health vaccination requirements
- Agree to a Criminal Record Check and Working with Children Check
- Have excellent communication skills and a strong commitment to patient care
