Position Summary

n

The CNC Machine Operator is responsible for operating and monitoring CNC machinery to manufacture precision components that meet customer and engineering specifications. This position plays a critical role in maintaining product quality, production efficiency, and workplace safety.

n

Essential Responsibilities

n

n
- Set up and operate CNC milling, turning, and grinding machines according to work instructions and production requirements.
n
- Load raw materials and components into machines and properly secure fixtures and tooling.
n
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and manufacturing specifications.
n
- Monitor machine performance and production runs to ensure quality and accuracy.
n
- Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments, including calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
n
- Make minor machine adjustments and tool offsets as needed during production.
n
- Identify and report machine malfunctions, excessive tool wear, and quality concerns.
n
- Perform routine machine maintenance and maintain a clean, organized work area.
n
- Accurately document production counts, inspections,



and related manufacturing data.
n
- Follow all company safety policies, quality standards, and operating procedures.
n

Qualifications

n

n
- High School Diploma or GED required.
n
- Previous CNC machine operation experience .
n
- Basic knowledge of CNC controls and machining processes.
n
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
n
- Experience using precision measuring equipment such as calipers and micrometers.
n
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
n
- Positive math skills and mechanical aptitude.
n
- Reliable work history and strong attendance record.
n

- Frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting.
n
- Fast-paced production setting.
n
- Overtime may be required based on production demands.

Schedule

n

1st Shift

n

Monday-Friday8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

n

2nd Shift

n

Monday-Friday3:25 PM - 11:55 PM

n

Overtime available as needed.

n

Pay Rate

n

$19.00 - $21.70 per hour

n

Pay is based on experience, qualifications, and shift assignment.
