Partnerships Manager – Sport & Youth Charity

Boxing Beyond Barriers and The Boxing Shop are looking for a commercially minded Partnerships Manager to join us in Salisbury, Brisbane.

This position will initially be 3 days per week for a 3-month probationary period, with the intention of progressing to a full-time position for the right person.

The role

Your focus will be to build relationships, create opportunities and generate sustainable recent revenue across both organisations.

Key responsibilities include

- Developing corporate partnerships and sponsorships
- Selling our $6,500 Fund a School sponsorship packages
- Building relationships with corporate supporters, donors and philanthropists
- Developing sponsorship opportunities for The Boxing Shop, our amateur team, professional boxers and events
- Researching and approaching suitable companies and decision-makers
- Building and managing a partnership and sponsorship pipeline
- Preparing proposals and following up opportunities
- Arranging quality meetings for founder Gareth Williams
- Identifying suitable grants and funding opportunities
- Tracking meetings, proposals, pipeline value and revenue secured

You will need to be confident approaching businesses, building genuine relationships, following up consistently and being accountable for commercial outcomes. Experience in sport, community organisations or charities would be helpful but is not essential.

What success looks like

During the first 90 days, we want to see a strong partnership pipeline and genuine new revenue being generated.

As a guide

- $30,000 new revenue – solid
- $50,000+ – strong
- $75,000+ – exceptional

Hours & remuneration 3 days per week initially – approximately 22.8 hours

Approx. $54,000 per annum + super for the 3-day-per-week position, plus performance incentives.

For the right person, the intention is for this role to progress to full-time following the probationary period.
