Parts Specialist – FIFO An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced and motivated Parts Specialist to join our team at GEMCO.

This is a FIFO position from either Darwin or Cairns, with a preferred 4 days on, 3 days off roster. A 7 days on, 7 days off roster may also be considered for the right candidate.

About the Role The successful candidate will support the efficient management of parts and inventory while working within a busy site environment. This position requires someone who is organised, reliable and comfortable working independently when required.

Key responsibilities may include

- Receiving, checking and storing parts and materials
- Picking and issuing parts for site operations
- Maintaining accurate inventory and stock records
- Completing stocktakes and assisting with inventory control
- Entering and updating information in computer systems
- Communicating with site personnel, suppliers and other departments
- Maintaining a protected, clean and organised work area

About You The ideal candidate will have:





- A current forklift licence
- Good computer and data-entry skills
- Strong organisational and time-management skills
- A proactive attitude and the ability to show initiative
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication and problem-solving skills
- A strong commitment to workplace health and safety
- Previous experience using SAP or a similar inventory or ERP system is desirable but not essential
- Previous experience in parts, warehousing, stores or inventory management is highly regarded
