Payroll Officer | End-to-End Payroll

Brisbane | Supportive Payroll Team | Broad Finance Exposure A rare opportunity has become available for an experienced Payroll Officer to join an established organisation as part of a supportive finance and payroll team. Reporting to the Payroll Manager, you will assist with the accurate and timely delivery of end-to-end payroll while providing a high level of service to employees across the business.

This role will suit someone with solid payroll experience who enjoys working in a collaborative environment and has a good understanding of Modern Awards and payroll legislation.

Key Responsibilities

- Process end-to-end payroll accurately and within required timeframes
- Process new starters, employee changes and terminations
- Calculate wages, allowances, deductions and leave entitlements
- Process superannuation and other payroll-related obligations
- Interpret and apply relevant Up-to-date Awards and National Employment Standards
- Maintain accurate employee and payroll records
- Complete payroll reconciliations and investigate discrepancies
- Respond to employee payroll queries
- Assist the Payroll Manager with payroll reporting and compliance requirements




- Support month-end and other payroll-related reconciliations
- Assist across other areas of finance when required

About You

To be successful in this position, you will have:
- A minimum of 2 years' payroll experience in a similar role
- Strong numerical accuracy and attention to detail
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- Strong problem-solving ability
- Good communication skills and a customer-focused approach
