As an APS4 People Connect Officer, you will play a key role in delivering a high-quality, rapid-paced HR service by turning enquiries into practical advice and effective outcomes. You will provide HR and recruitment support, assist with recruitment and onboarding, resolve system issues across ServiceNow, Big Red Sky and Aurion, and contribute to improving the processes and knowledge resources that support our people.

Your contribution will extend beyond day-to-day service delivery. By providing accurate, timely and consistent support, you will enable ACCC employees and leaders to focus on protecting consumers, promoting competition and supporting a fair, productive economy. You will join a collaborative, high-performing team that values initiative, continuous improvement and fresh thinking, with opportunities to strengthen the employee experience and the ACCC’s capability to deliver for all Australians.





- Provide accurate, timely and practical tier 1 HR advice across recruitment, learning and development, employment matters, reporting and work health and safety.
- Support end-to-end recruitment and onboarding, including assisting selection panels, drafting job advertisements and offers, and processing employees in HR systems.
- Troubleshoot and administer HR processes across ServiceNow, Big Red Sky and Aurion, identifying risks and escalating complex issues where appropriate.
- Improve HR services by maintaining procedures and knowledge resources, building strong stakeholder relationships and contributing to projects and process improvements.
