About The Role We are seeking a temporary Director People & Culture for a 12-month chance to provide parental leave cover. In this role, you will lead the Australian People & Culture function and partner with leaders to deliver strategic workforce initiatives that support sustainable business growth, performance and organisational capability.

Due to the size of the team, this role will also be required to provide operational HR advice and support to the HR Generalist, and to the entire Australian workforce.

Duties Include But Are Not Limited To

- Execute the People & Culture strategy and contribute to organisational decision-making as a member of the leadership team.
- Partner with executives and people leaders on workforce planning and people-related risk management.
- Lead employee relations, governance and compliance activities while ensuring alignment with employment legislation and company policy.
- Drive talent, succession, leadership development and culture initiatives that strengthen organisational capability and engagement.
- Oversee People & Culture operations, systems, reporting and continuous improvement initiatives across the business.
- Collaborate with our People & Culture colleagues in the UK to ensure there is global alignment and delivery of people initiatives.

Skills & Experience





- Demonstrated experience in leading a small People & Culture or Human Resources function in a complex organisation.
- Strong knowledge of Australian employment legislation, employee relations and workforce governance.
- Proven ability to develop and implement people strategies that deliver measurable business outcomes.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with experience influencing at all levels including senior executives and leadership teams.
- Experience leading organisational change, workforce planning and culture transformation initiatives.
- Understanding and knowledge of workplace health and safety legislation.
- Experience operating with discretion, integrity and sound judgement.

Qualifications and Eligibility Criteria To Be Eligible For This Position You Must

- Be an Australian Citizen
- Hold or be eligible to obtain and maintain an NV2 Security Clearance
- Demonstrate the ability to successfully complete pre-employment screening requirements.
