About the Role

n

As Assistant Store Manager, you will work closely with the Store Manager to support the day-to-day running of a large and dynamic retail operation.

n

You will help lead a team of 8+ part-time and casual sales assistants, alongside a dedicated stock assistant, while taking ownership across key areas of store operations.

n

You will:

n

- Support sales, KPIs and overall store performance
n
- Lead, coach and develop the wider sales team
n
- Provide clear direction and maintain strong team standards
n
- Take ownership of day-to-day operations when the Store Manager is not present
n
- Support rostering, scheduling and team productivity
n
- Oversee stock flow, replenishment and inventory standards
n
- Maintain strong visual and operational execution
n
- Help deliver a consistent customer experience across busy trade periods
n
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and performance
n




- Build strong team engagement and accountability
n

What You'll Bring

n

We are looking for an experienced retail leader who is ready to take on more responsibility within a fast-paced, high-volume workplace.

n

You will ideally bring:

n

n
- Several years of team leadership experience within retail
n
- Strong operational capability across stock, scheduling and day-to-day store functions
n
- Confidence leading larger teams and providing clear direction
n
- Experience supporting sales performance and KPI delivery
n
- Strong communication and people management skills
n
- A proactive approach and willingness to take initiative
n
- The ability to remain organised and solutions-focused in a busy environment
n
- Outlet retail experience highly regarded
n
- Fashion, big box or other high-volume retail backgrounds also considered
n

n

This role will suit someone who enjoys being hands-on, wants to keep developing their leadership capability and is confident stepping up when required.
