With multiple locations across South East QLD, we are rapidly growing our client base and consequently seeking to appoint an experienced Personal Injuries Lawyer (2 years PAE ) to join our team in our Brisbane CBD office.

About the Role

You will be joining a team of highly regarded legal professionals, reporting directly to Special Counsel and the Practice Group Leader. As a Lawyer and Team Leader, you will manage your own portfolio of personal injury matters (a mixture of Workcover, Motor Vehicle and PIPA matters), with the support of a Paralegal and a Secretary. Initially you will be covering an established team and portfolio for a 12 month period of parental leave before then forming your own new team and growing a recent portfolio.

You will be responsible for:

- Converting and retaining new enquiries
- Managing files professionally, proactively and efficiently
- Providing clear, expert legal advice to clients
- Liaising with barristers, insurers, medical professionals and other key stakeholders
- Representing clients in negotiations, dispute resolution, or court processes as required
- Managing your own dedicated team consisting of a Paralegal and Secretary
- Providing monthly reports to management
- Delivering exceptional client service

This newly created role is based in our Brisbane CBD office. This is a full time position with flexible work options, including work from home, available. This role would suit someone looking to take the next step in their career,

About You

- are able to discuss legal matters in a practical and straightforward way, ensuring clarity for all parties
- possess flexibility and adaptability to manage changing work requirements and varying volumes of work
- are commercially minded with an entrepreneurial spirit
- are highly organised, proactive and focussed on growing your own portfolio
- are KPI driven with a high level of motivation to exceed targets
