The Role

Fumax is seeking a Pest Technician to join our team in Griffith and service the wider Riverina region.

This is a full-time position offering a diverse range of work across the Riverina. Daily tasks may include general residential pest control through to commercial and agricultural pest management on farms, packing facilities, warehouses, offices and other sites.

The successful applicant may also be required from time to time to assist with other pest control and fumigation projects, which may involve travel outside the region or interstate.





The position offers plenty of variety and the opportunity to develop additional skills within the pest control and fumigation industry. Where additional training is required beyond regular pest control duties, Fumax will provide the necessary training and ongoing support.

Required Skills & Experience

- Qualified Pest Controller and/or Fumigator (highly desirable)
- Current Australian Driver's Licence (essential)
- Previous pest control experience (desirable)
- Working at Heights Ticket (desirable)
- Forklift and/or High-Risk Work Licence (desirable)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Approachable and professional attitude
- Strong focus on safety and quality
- Excellent attention to detail
- Good problem-solving skills
- Basic technology and computer skills, including phone apps, Excel, Word and Outlook
- Ability to work effectively as part of a cohesive team
- Ability to work autonomously and manage day-to-day responsibilities
- Willingness to travel when required
