VR General Practitioner – Perth Urgent Care Clinics

Location: Perth, Western Australia

Flexible urgent care shifts are available across three Medicare Urgent Care Clinics in Perth.

Charterhouse Medical is seeking Vocationally Registered General Practitioners interested in regular or occasional weekday and weekend work.

The clinics provide accessible treatment for patients requiring urgent medical attention that does not require presentation to a hospital emergency department.

Weekday morning, weekday evening and weekend shifts are available, allowing you to nominate your preferred locations and availability.

Available locations

- Perth City Medicare Urgent Care Clinic – Morley
- Ellenbrook Medicare Urgent Care Clinic
- Rockingham Medicare Urgent Care Clinic
- Clinic operating hours
- Morley: 8:00 am to 10:00 pm
- Ellenbrook: 7:00 am to 9:00 pm
- Rockingham: 8:00 am to 10:00 pm

The Role

- Assess and treat patients presenting with urgent, non-life-threatening conditions
- Deliver safe, efficient and patient-centred care
- Work alongside established clinical, nursing and administrative teams
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Escalate or refer patients when clinically appropriate




- Support the delivery of accessible community-based urgent care
- Essential requirements
- Vocational registration as a General Practitioner
- FRACGP, FACRRM or equivalent specialist GP recognition
- Current AHPRA specialist registration in general practice
- Strong clinical assessment and communication skills
- Confidence working within a fast-paced clinical environment
- Urgent care or emergency medicine experience would be advantageous but is not essential.
