**About the role
Lead the delivery of pharmacy services across one of Queensland's most innovative rehabilitation facilities. Based at STARS, this advanced practice role combines clinical expertise, strategic leadership and operational management to ensure rehabilitation patients receive high-quality, evidence-based and person-centred medicines management throughout their healthcare journey.
As the Rehabilitation Team Leader, you will work closely with pharmacists, pharmacy support staff and multidisciplinary rehabilitation teams to drive service excellence, support clinical innovation and strengthen medication stewardship across rehabilitation services. The position also provides opportunities to influence service development, workforce capability, research, education and quality improvement initiatives within a digitally enabled healthcare environment.
About you
Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:
Provide advanced clinical leadership and expert medicines management advice to support rehabilitation services and optimise patient-centred healthcare outcomes.
Lead and coordinate the Pharmacy Rehabilitation Team, including workforce management, staff development, operational planning and service delivery priorities.
Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, clinical leaders and external stakeholders to deliver innovative and evidence-based rehabilitation pharmacy services.
Drive quality improvement,
medication stewardship and service development initiatives that enhance clinical safety, efficiency and value-based care.
Contribute to education, research, supervision and professional development activities that strengthen pharmacy practice and workforce capability.
