Physiotherapist –

Neurological, Vestibular and Concussion Rehabilitation

Advanced Neuro Rehab (ANR) is seeking a motivated physiotherapist to join our growing Adelaide team. This role will be based predominantly at our Royston Park clinic, with opportunities to work across our other clinics and in the community.

We welcome applications from physiotherapists with relevant experience, as well as clinicians who are passionate about developing their skills in neurological and vestibular rehabilitation. While we are ideally seeking a full-time physiotherapist, part-time hours may be negotiated for the right applicant.

About the role

You will provide individualised physiotherapy to people with a diverse range of neurological, vestibular and concussion presentations. Depending on your experience and interests, the role may include:
- Clinic-based assessment and rehabilitation
- Neurological, vestibular and concussion physiotherapy
- Individual appointments and small-group rehabilitation
- Hydrotherapy




- Community and home-based appointments
- Collaboration with families, support teams, referrers and other health professionals
- Development of rehabilitation plans based on each client’s goals
- Clinical documentation and reports for relevant funding bodies
- Participation in ANR’s mentoring and professional development program

Our clients access services through a range of funding pathways, including the NDIS, Lifetime Support Scheme, ReturnToWorkSA, DVA, Medicare, aged care programs and private funding.

Previous private practice, neurological, vestibular or rehabilitation experience would be highly regarded but is not essential. The level of clinical support and caseload will be tailored to the successful applicant’s experience.

Established in 2006, Advanced Neuro Rehab is an Adelaide-based physiotherapy practice focused on neurological, vestibular and concussion rehabilitation. We have clinics at Royston Park, Goodwood and Christies Beach, and also provide community-based services throughout metropolitan Adelaide.

ANR is led by Director and Principal Physiotherapist Associate Professor James McLoughlin, who has academic status at Flinders University and extensive experience in neurological rehabilitation. He is supported by Liz Jemson-Ledger, Associate Practice Principal Physiotherapist, and Clinical Leads Eileen Ting and Vanessa Wittwer. Essential requirements

The successful applicant will require:

- A recognised physiotherapy qualification
- Current or eligible registration with AHPRA
- Eligibility to obtain a Medicare provider number
- A current driver’s licence and access to a reliable, roadworthy vehicle for community appointments
- Current CPR and first aid certification, or willingness to obtain these before commencing
- Required South Australian screening clearances, including a Working with Children Check, NDIS DCSI and other relevant disability-sector screening
- The right to work in Australia
