About the Role We're looking for a Physiotherapist to join our team across
Brisbane North and the Moreton Bay region.
Depending on where you're based, your caseload could include areas such as Chermside, Aspley, Carseldine, Bridgeman Downs, Albany Creek, Strathpine, Brendale, Warner, Petrie, Kallangur, Mango Hill, North Lakes and surrounding suburbs.
While our broader service area covers Brisbane's northern corridor, you won't be expected to travel across the entire region. Wherever possible, we'll build your caseload around where you live, helping keep travel practical and giving you genuine flexibility over your working week.
You'll work primarily across participants' homes and community environments, with telehealth where appropriate, supporting people to improve their mobility, independence and participation in everyday life.
Shape Your Physio Caseload You'll have the opportunity to work with NDIS participants across the lifespan, with your caseload shaped around your experience, clinical interests and local service needs wherever possible.
Your work may include mobility and functional assessments, strength and conditioning, balance and falls prevention, pain management,
equipment recommendations, rehabilitation and ongoing therapy.
We're looking for early-career through to experienced Physiotherapists who enjoy the autonomy of community practice but still want access to clinical support and a broader multidisciplinary network.
You'll have access to structured supervision, peer collaboration,
Communities of Practice and ongoing professional development, with opportunities to continue developing your clinical interests and career.
What You'll Be Doing
- Deliver evidence-informed, person-centred Physiotherapy
- Complete mobility and functional assessments, intervention planning and ongoing therapy
- Support participants with mobility, strength, balance, pain management and functional goals
- Develop therapy plans aligned with individual participant goals
- Work flexibly across home, community and telehealth settings
- Collaborate with families, carers, support coordinators and multidisciplinary colleagues
- Manage your caseload and schedule with flexibility and autonomy
- Participate in clinical supervision, peer learning and professional development
What We Offer
- Localised caseloads from Chermside through to North Lakes
- Adaptable community and hybrid working
- Structured clinical supervision and support
- Multidisciplinary collaboration and peer learning
- Communities of Practice and ongoing professional development
- Opportunities to develop and expand your clinical interests
- Achievable KPIs supporting sustainable workloads
- Genuine career progression within a national allied health organisation
- Local connection plus Avina's wider national clinical network
What You'll Bring
- Degree in Physiotherapy
- Current AHPRA registration
- Strong communication, clinical reasoning and organisational skills
- A collaborative and person-centred approach
- Confidence working independently in the community while staying connected with your wider team
- NDIS Worker Screening Check and Working With Children Check, or willingness to obtain
- Driver's licence and reliable vehicle for community work
If you're looking for a Physiotherapy role where you can work closer to home across Brisbane's northern corridor, have genuine flexibility over your week and still have the support of a wider multidisciplinary team, we'd love to hear from you.
