We are seeking an experienced Plant Operator to join our team at Dig Deep Excavations (NSW) Pty Ltd in Penrith, NSW. As a Plant Operator, you will play a crucial role in the successful delivery of our construction projects, operating a range of heavy machinery and equipment. This is a full-time position that offers opportunities for ongoing training and career development.
What you'll be doing
- Safely operate a variety of plant and machinery, including excavators, posi tracks and graders.
- Carry out pre-start checks and routine maintenance on assigned equipment
- Follow all safety procedures and work in compliance with environmental regulations
- Liaise with project managers and site supervisors to ensure efficient and timely completion of tasks
- Provide support to other team members as required
What we're looking for
- Minimum 12 months experience as a Plant Operator in the construction industry
- Strong understanding of construction equipment operation and maintenance
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to safety
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
- Good communication and problem-solving skills
