PMO Manager / Lead

Location: Melbourne or Sydney preferred

Work Arrangement: Remote

Contract: 6 months initially, with potential extension

We are seeking an experienced PMO Manager / Lead to lead and oversee PMO functions within a technology delivery environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead PMO operations across projects and programs.
- Establish and maintain governance frameworks, processes and reporting standards .
- Provide oversight of project status, milestones, risks, issues, dependencies and actions.
- Prepare executive reporting, dashboards and governance packs .
- Support portfolio planning, financial management and resource tracking.
- Work closely with Project and Program Managers to ensure consistent delivery governance.
- Facilitate governance forums and provide clear reporting to senior stakeholders.
- Identify delivery risks and opportunities for process improvement.
- Drive continuous improvement across PMO practices, tools and processes.
- Provide guidance and support to PMO analysts and project support resources.

About You
- Proven experience as a PMO Manager, PMO Lead, Senior PMO Manager or similar .
- Strong experience managing PMO functions across complex projects or programs.
- Excellent understanding of project governance, reporting, risk management and financial tracking .
- Robust stakeholder management and communication skills, including experience engaging with senior leadership.
- Highly organised with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience within technology, transformation or enterprise environments .
- Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Confluence, MS Project, Excel and PowerPoint .
