An Australian registered Specialist Urologist with an ongoing commitment to excellence is looking for an experienced Practice manager to lead an established specialist surgical practice.

A great opportunity to lead a team of friendly and motivated staff and supporting a Urologist in offering the highest level of patient care.

This is a key leadership role responsible for ensuring smooth patient care, efficient practice systems and a positive workplace culture.

About the practice

· Established specialist surgical practice

· Small team (reception, nursing, surgeons, doctors)

· High patient volume with strong reputation for clinical care

· Focus on efficient empathic patient experience and professional standards The role

You will oversee the operational management of the practice including:

· Day-to-day practice operations

· Leadership of reception and administrative staff

· Patient flow and appointment management

· Billing systems and Medicare compliance

· Theatre scheduling and procedure coordination

· Financial oversight including billing and reporting

· HR tasks including rostering, recruitment and staff development

· Process improvement and workflow optimisation

Essential experience

· Experience managing a medical or specialist practice

· Strong understanding of Medicare billing and private billing

· Experience supervising administrative teams

· Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills

· Ability to maintain a calm, professional environment in a busy clinical setting

Desirable

· Experience in procedural specialist or surgical practice

· Familiarity with Genie / Gentu or similar practice software as well as Xero or similar bookkeeping software





· Understanding of hospital bookings and theatre coordination

Practice medical software - Genie/Gentu experience is highly desirable

Previous experience working in a Urology Practice is desirable, but not essential

Location: North Sydney

Annual Salary based on: $40-50 per hour (depending on experience) plus super contribution

Job Types: Permanent, Full-time

Pay: $85,000.00 – $105,000.00 per year
