Chief Financial Officer / Senior Finance Manager
n The Opportunity
n We are an integrated services provider working across various renewable infrastructure streams and with new growth opportunities seeking to appoint a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our leadership team.
n This is a key leadership position and will partner closely with the senior leadership team to drive business growth, improve financial performance, and support strategic decision-making.
n The successful candidate will bring strong commercial acumen, exceptional leadership capability, and the ability to operate effectively in a dynamic and evolving business environment.
n Key Responsibilities
n As CFO, your responsibilities will include:
n

- Providing strategic financial leadership and advice to the executive leadership team
n
- Developing and implementing financial strategies that support organisational growth and long-term objectives.
n
- Managing cash flow, working capital, treasury, and capital management initiatives.
n
- Delivering accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting.
n
- Overseeing financial governance, internal controls, compliance, and risk management frameworks.
n
- Leading the preparation of statutory accounts and coordinating annual audit processes.
n
- Monitoring business performance through financial analysis, KPI reporting, and commercial insights.
n
- Evaluating investment opportunities, capital projects, mergers and acquisitions, and business growth initiatives.
n
- Supporting contract reviews, commercial negotiations, and strategic business planning activities.
n
- Identifying and mitigating financial, commercial, and operational risks.
n

About You
n You are an accomplished finance leader with a proven track record of delivering commercial outcomes,
financial discipline, and strategic leadership.
n You possess the ability to balance hands-on operational requirements with broader strategic objectives and are capable of influencing stakeholders at all levels of an organisation.
n Selection Criteria
n
n
- CPA, CA, or equivalent professional accounting qualification.
n
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, Economics, or a related discipline.
n
- Significant senior finance leadership experience, including previous CFO, Finance Director, or General Manager Finance roles.
n
- Demonstrated experience leading finance functions within medium to large organisations.
n
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting, management accounting, taxation, treasury, governance, and compliance requirements.
n
- Proven experience preparing and presenting financial reports to Boards, Executive Teams, and key stakeholders.
n
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to translate financial data into strategic business decisions.
n
n
Highly Regarded
n
n
- MBA or postgraduate qualifications in finance, business, or leadership.
n
- Experience within mining, resources, energy, infrastructure, construction, manufacturing, or industrial sectors.
n
- Experience supporting private equity, publicly listed, or high-growth organisations.
n
- Exposure to mergers and acquisitions, business integrations, or corporate restructuring activities.
n
- Experience implementing ERP systems and digital finance transformation projects.
n
