The Role

Who are we?

The Feros Group is a leading hospitality group that was founded in the early 1970s and currently operates 10 successful destinations across the Sutherland Shire, Sydney CBD, and NSW South Coast. We are continuing to grow with several new venues in the pipeline, we continue to hold the values of family and community at the fore front.

What is the role?

As a front of house team member at Ocean Beach Hotel, you are the face of our venue so your ability to make people feel welcome and make them smile is paramount to your success. Your day-to-day duties include but are not limited to:

- Greeting and seating customers
- Cleaning, clearing, and resetting tables
- Taking orders and making payments
- Preparing beverages and cocktails
- Washing and restocking glassware
- Managing customers and pre-empting RSA issues
- Attending to gaming machines and providing payouts

For specialized roles in Gaming and/or Bar & Cocktail experience is required.

What is needed to be successful in this role?

- Current Responsible Service of Alcohol Certificate (RSA) – Essential for all roles
- Current Responsible Conduct of Gaming (RCG) – Essential for those wanting to work in Gaming roles




- Current Advanced Responsible Conduct of Gaming (ARCG) – Essential for those wanting to work in Gaming roles
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well within a team as well as autonomously when required
- Ability to work a flexible roster including weekdays, weeknights, weekends, and public holidays
- Ability to work in a diverse team in a busy setting
- Ability to multitask and work with a sense of urgency

Please note that you must be available to work on weekends, nights, and public holidays.
