Worrigee Medical Centre is looking for an experienced Practice Manager — or an experienced Office Manager, Medical Administrator or healthcare professional ready to take the next step into management.

Located in South Nowra, in the heart of the beautiful Shoalhaven, this is an opportunity to take on a rewarding leadership position while still having the time to enjoy life outside work.

You'll have considerable autonomy over the day-to-day operation of Worrigee Medical Centre, while having the support of an experienced wider management and clinical team whenever you need it.

The Team You'll Lead

Worrigee Medical Centre is a busy, established general practice with an experienced team of doctors, nurses, allied health and administration staff.

You'll work closely with the clinical and administration teams to make sure the practice runs smoothly and that both our patients and our staff feel supported.

We're big enough to provide an interesting and wide-ranging management role, but we haven't lost the personal relationships that make a workplace enjoyable.

We're looking for someone who enjoys bringing people together and making things work.

You'll ideally be

- organised and confident managing a busy workplace;
- approachable, positive and supportive with staff;
- comfortable working with doctors, nurses and administration teams;
- able to manage competing priorities without losing sight of the bigger picture;
- confident making decisions and taking responsibility;
- interested in improving systems and finding better ways of working;
- professional, fair and respectful;
- calm when the unexpected happens; and
- someone who genuinely enjoys being part of a team.

Previous general practice management experience would be highly regarded, but don't rule yourself out simply because you haven't previously held the title of Practice Manager. We would also genuinely like to hear from experienced Office Managers, Medical Administrators, senior healthcare administration staff, or healthcare professionals with the organisational skills, people skills, and confidence to take the next step into management.
