Our commitment to responsible mining practices, environmental stewardship, and the long-term sustainability of the island underpins everything we do. Governed by Western Australian and Federal legislation, including the WA Mines Safety and Inspection Act, our mature phosphate operation offers both professional challenge and lifestyle balance.
CIP is offering a rare opportunity to take your leadership, safety, and operational expertise to one of Australia's most remote and unique mining operations — set against a backdrop of crystal-clear waters, untouched jungle, and an incredibly welcoming island community.

As the Processing Supervisor, you’ll play a hands-on leadership role in overseeing a key processing circuit at our phosphate mining operations, while mentoring a close-knit operational team.
You’ll drive safe production performance, champion positive cultural change, and help lift safety and efficiency standards — all while enjoying a lifestyle unlike anywhere else.

· Driving WHS compliance, operational discipline, and safety-first behaviours;
· Mentoring and developing your crew, allocating tasks, and ensuring delivery of production KPIs;

and maintaining high housekeeping and equipment standards; and
· Leading by example, championing cultural improvement, and modelling proactive leadership.
What we’re looking for:
· A proven leader with supervisory experience in a processing or production plant;
· A strong understanding of safety legislation and risk management;
· Practical, hands-on leadership style with a passion for mentoring others;
· Experience operating or supervising drying, crushing, or similar mineral processing circuits; and
· Willingness to live and work full-time on Christmas Island (relocation support provided).
You will need to have a valid C class driver’s licence, strong computer literacy and DMIRS Statutory Supervisor qualification. It is desirable for Certificate III in Process Plant Operations qualification and Certificate IV in Frontline Management.
What’s on offer?
· A True Lifestyle Change:
Live on Christmas Island, where your time off includes world-class snorkelling, incredible fishing, rainforest hikes, and stunning waterfalls.
· Make a Real Impact:
Bring your seasoned mining experience to a dynamic and evolving operation, where your leadership can shape safety culture,
operational efficiencies, and team engagement.

This is a full-time, permanent residential role with an 8:6 roster, where you get to go home at the end of each shift. We offer a relocation package for this role; you will also have access to discounted gym membership, a golf club and a free 24/7 holistic Employee Assistance Program.
Yes, It’s Remote – But That’s the Magic, Unique Lifestyle & Leadership Opportunity
