Are you an experienced and reliable cleaner looking for a new prospect? Join Tassal, Australia’s largest salmon producer, as a Cleaning/Processing Attendant at our Margate Salmon Processing Facility. This casual role is perfect for someone who takes pride in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in an industrial setting.

You’ll play a key role in ensuring our processing equipment and machinery are thoroughly cleaned and ready for the next day’s production. If you’re reliable, have a positive attitude, and are ready to contribute to a dynamic team, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities

- Clean and sanitize processing equipment and machinery to meet strict hygiene and quality standards.
- Ensure all cleaning tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard.
- Follow food safety and hygiene protocols to maintain a safe and compliant work environment.
- Work collaboratively with the team to support the smooth operation of the facility.
- Perform manual cleaning tasks, including handling heavy machinery and equipment.

Role Requirements

- Ability to work the P.M. shift (2:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m.).
- Previous industrial cleaning experience is preferred, but on-the-job training will be provided.
- Ability to perform manual tasks, including lifting and cleaning heavy machinery.
- A keen eye for detail to ensure thorough cleaning and sanitation.




- Understanding of food processing, quality, and hygiene practices is an advantage.
- A forklift license is preferred but not essential.
- Reliable transport
