Production & Design Draftsperson

DMW has a position for a highly motivated production draftsperson to join the team. With an ever increasing demand for our "in house" fabricated products, and extensive engineering development in the GVM space.

DMW is a progressive company specializing in high end vehicle modifications focusing on dual cab conversions, GVM upgrades and chassis extensions. In addition, we design and manufacture utility trays, high end canopies, integrated assemblies, locker boxes and an ever expanding list of quality products for the 4WD leisure and touring market.

The company is powering ahead with a range of research and development projects and exciting ventures both nationally and internationally, all based on our reputation for outstanding quality, service and innovation. Our staff influence the next idea and design, particularly those in the engineering team who are passionate about both company and personal growth.

Some of the key duties that will be required include:

- Coordination with sales, production and suppliers on project builds & production line items.
- Provide technical support for production, operations, purchasing and stores including some QA functions.
- Revise, enhance and update existing parts and products.




- Drafting of new and improved 4WD market suitable products.
- Liaise directly with company management to help determine and create sales opportunities.
- Prepare, implement and monitor product quality documentation and reports.

Qualifications, Skills & Experience:
- Ability to work independently to organize and prioritize demands, handle multiple tasks simultaneously, set and meet deadlines and follow-through within a fast-paced environment with competing requirements.
- Extensive Solidworks experience.
- Sheet metal drafting know-how.
- Time and task management skills.
- Ability to communicate in a workshop environment as required.
- Highly proficient computing skills including MS Word and Excel.
- Possess a positive attitude and be a team player.
