A mechanical services business is opening a current sheetmetal facility in Perth and is looking for a Production Manager to run it.

This is a build from the ground up. The plant is new, the team is being hired now, and full production is planned for early 2027. You would be setting the way the shop runs rather than inheriting someone else's.

What the role covers

Running daily production across fabrication and assembly, roughly 12 staff once the team is complete

Scheduling and throughput against project programmes

Quality, safety and plant maintenance on the floor

Building and developing the team through the ramp up

What we are looking for

Sheetmetal or light fabrication background, trade qualified or equivalent hands on experience

Experience running a production team, ideally through a growth or setup phase

Comfortable with production scheduling and reading fabrication drawings

Ductwork or HVAC manufacturing experience is an advantage, not a requirement The role starts before Christmas.
