OUR CLIENT

We are partnering with a well-established Australian manufacturing business looking for experienced Production Operators to join their team on a permanent full-time basis.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We currently have three (3) permanent opportunities available for experienced Production Operators to join a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

The successful candidates will be responsible for operating and monitoring production equipment, maintaining quality standards, following safety procedures, and supporting efficient production operations.

SHIFTS AVAILABLE & SALARIES

- 1 x Night Shift – Line 4 (F1): 11 PM – 7 AM | $92,500 + super
- 1 x Night Shift – Liquid Line (F2): 11 PM – 7 AM | $92,500 + super
- 1 x Afternoon Shift – Liquid Line (F2): 3 PM – 11 PM | $82,000 + super

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Operate and monitor manufacturing and packaging equipment safely and efficiently.
- Perform product changeovers, equipment setup, and basic troubleshooting.
- Complete quality checks and accurately record production data.
- Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), GMP, HACCP, and workplace health and safety requirements.
- Maintain housekeeping standards and support 5S activities.
- Identify and escalate equipment or process issues to minimise downtime.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to improve safety, quality, and productivity.




- Work collaboratively with team members, maintenance technicians, and supervisors.
- Ensure production targets and quality standards are consistently met.
- Complete general production and manual handling duties as required.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

- Previous experience operating machinery in a manufacturing, food production, FMCG, pharmaceutical, or packaging setting.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and quality standards.
- Ability to follow work instructions, SOPs, and production procedures.
- Good problem-solving and communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining product quality.
- Reliable, motivated, and able to work effectively as part of a team.
- Ability to work rotating shifts, weekends, and overtime when required.
- Physically capable of performing manual handling tasks and working in a production environment.

DESIRABLE:

- Forklift licence.
- Experience operating automated production lines.
- Understanding of Lean Manufacturing, TPM, or Continuous Improvement principles.
- Experience working in food manufacturing and HACCP environments.
