Wellington CBD** Te Au Reka - Improving access to justice for all New Zealanders Te Au Reka represents the opportunity of a lifetime, making a profound difference to those who work in and interact with our courts and tribunals. We are seeking to modernise the administration of justice by replacing highly manual, time-consuming, paper-based process with a new digital case management solution, transforming the way people access and experience justice in Aotearoa New Zealand.

Te Au Reka is a large, complex and unique programme spanning the courts and tribunals of New Zealand. In delivering Te Au Reka we are seeking to build the Ministry's capability to deliver complex programmes of change. Te Haeata/The Opportunity We are looking for an experienced programme coordinator who enjoys variety and can confidently support a broad range of programme activities as priorities evolve. This role requires someone who is comfortable working in a dynamic environment, able to quickly understand new areas of work, and willing to step in wherever they can add value.

As the programme continues and adapts to changing delivery needs, the successful candidate will bring the flexibility and judgement required to shift focus, balance competing demands, and provide support where it is needed most.

The ideal candidate will be a proactive self-starter who takes ownership, uses initiative, and is comfortable making progress without having all the answers from the outset. They will thrive in ambiguity, be highly adaptable, and have a proven ability to build strong working relationships with a wide range of stakeholders. Strong organisational skills, sound judgement,



and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously will be essential.

We are seeking someone who enjoys being an all-rounder and is equally comfortable supporting strategic activities such as planning, governance, reporting, and risk management, as they are rolling up their sleeves to assist with operational coordination, administration, and delivery support. Above all, they will bring a positive, collaborative attitude, a willingness to help wherever needed, and a genuine commitment to contributing to the success of the programme and the wider team.

Ō Pūkenga/Skills And Experience To be successful in this position you will have:

- Demonstrated experience providing coordination support in a project or programme, ideally supporting multiple activities or workstreams.
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail, able to manage competing priorities, follow processes, and ensure tasks are completed on time.
- A proactive and reliable self-starter who uses initiative, takes ownership, and is comfortable working in ambiguity, proactively identifying what needs to be done and following it through to completion.
- Well developed interpersonal skills, with experience working professionally with a range of people and supporting meetings or forums involving senior or formal participants.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills, including experience preparing meeting materials, taking accurate minutes, tracking actions, and contributing to clear and concise reporting.
- Confidence using Microsoft Office products (particularly Outlook, Word, Excel,



and Teams); experience with project or tracking tools such as MS Project or Azure DevOps would be beneficial but is not essential.

Utu ā-tau/Salary The salary range for this role is between $74,634 and $100,846, with the likely appointing salary between $74,634 and $85,919, based on skills and experience.
