Project Manager – Construction | 12-Month+ Contract (Likely Extension)

We are currently seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to work data centre projects in Victoria on an initial 12-month contract, with strong potential for extension. This role offers the opportunity to lead the delivery of complex construction works within a dynamic and collaborative workplace.

The Role

Reporting to the Construction Manager, you will be responsible for the planning, execution and delivery of allocated projects, ensuring safety, quality, budget, and time objectives are met. You will lead project teams, subcontractors and suppliers while maintaining strong stakeholder relationships and driving continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and manage project plans, budgets, resources, and schedules
- Oversee delivery teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure efficient performance
- Monitor project progress, provide accurate reporting, and ensure timely project closure
- Manage financial performance including forecasting, budgeting, and cost control
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality requirements
- Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, contractors, and clients
- Identify risks and implement effective mitigation strategies
- Coach and support team members, driving accountability and performance

About You To be successful in this role, you will bring:





- Proven experience as a Project Manager in the construction sector, within Victorian infrastructure or utilities projects
- Demonstrated understanding of formal project management methodologies (PMP/PMBOK or equivalent) and the ability to apply these principles effectively throughout the project lifecycle.
- Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, resources, and competing priorities
- People leadership skills with the ability to manage multidisciplinary teams and contractors across multiple sites
- High-level problem-solving, organisational, and communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; SAP experience highly regarded
- Tertiary qualification in Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline
- Current driver’s licence
