Project management

- Manage a project to deliver solutions/capabilities that meet business requirements and realize perks within agreed scope, time, cost and quality

- Monitor and report to the Program Director and Project Sponsor on status of financials, risks, issues and progress towards milestones and deliverables

- Capture learnings and the Intellectual Property through Knowledge Management and reapplying these learnings for future projects

Knowledge and Experience:

Experience

- Proven track record in successfully leading and managing medium/large projects with many of the following characteristics:

- Indicative cost up to $20M





- Project duration up to 18 months

- Teams typically ranging up to 30 resources

- Project Impact: Medium

- Project Risk: Medium

- Minimal sub projects / streams

- Single end deliverable (more complex)

- Up to 5 business areas affected

- Medium reliance on external partners

- Limited interdependency (up to 5 projects)

- Management of diverse stakeholder expectations, across different business divisions

- 5 + years' experience within projects and/or delivery of technology solutions (minimum 3 years at Project Manager level)

- 3+ years working in a large and complex organisation

- 3+ years' experience in the financial services industry

- Demonstrated ability to understand the differing business practices

Education

- Technology tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience

- Certified Practicing Project Manager (via AIPM) and/or Project Management Professional (via PMI) accreditation desirable or internal training mandatory (refer to the Project Management Education catalogue on the EIS site)
