Working alongside Traditional Custodians, pastoral enterprises, government, industry and natural resource management experts, they develop sustainable solutions that protect and enhance some of WA’s most important landscapes.

They are now looking for an experienced Project Manager / Project Lead to join their team, with two opportunities available: one Perth-based and one Broome-based.

The Opportunity As a Project Manager / Project Lead, you will be responsible for leading the delivery of multiple projects, taking ownership of project planning, budgets, contracts, reporting, stakeholder engagement and day-to-day delivery.

You will manage complex projects, often across regional and remote environments, while building trusted and respectful relationships with Traditional Custodians, Aboriginal organisations, pastoralists, government, clients and industry partners.

This role would suit an experienced project professional who is confident working autonomously,



managing competing priorities and taking projects from planning through to successful completion.

The Tasks Ahead

- Lead the planning, delivery, monitoring, evaluation and close-out of multiple projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget and to a high standard
- Set project priorities, resourcing requirements and critical paths
- Manage project budgets, contracts and subcontractor relationships
- Identify and manage strategic, financial, operational, cultural and safety risks
- Oversee internal, client and grant reporting requirements
- Contribute to major grant applications, tenders and commercial proposals aligned with the organisation's Strategic Plan
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with government, funders, industry, philanthropy, Aboriginal organisations and research partners
- Provide guidance, support and mentoring to project staff
- Foster a safe, inclusive and high-performing team culture
- Maintain WHS duty of care across office, remote and field-based environments
- Build respectful, long-term partnerships with Traditional Custodians, Aboriginal corporations and community groups
- Ensure projects are delivered in accordance with cultural protocols, including free, prior and informed consent and cultural safety principles
- Contribute to innovation across NRM delivery, including climate adaptation, carbon, biodiversity and cultural land management
- Contribute to organisational strategy, growth and reputation

About You You are an experienced project professional with strong organisational and stakeholder management skills,



an understanding of the WA rangelands and a genuine interest in delivering projects that create positive environmental and community outcomes.

Essential

- Demonstrated experience in project management or project leadership, ideally across multiple concurrent projects
- Experience managing project budgets, contracts and client relationships
- Experience coordinating, supervising or working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams
- Understanding of the WA rangelands, including key NRM threats and opportunities
- Strong written, verbal and digital communication skills
- Experience working with a range of stakeholders, including government, industry, community and/or Aboriginal organisations
- High cultural competence and demonstrated experience working respectfully with Traditional Custodians, Aboriginal corporations and community groups
- Current C Class WA Driver's Licence
- Strong commitment to WHS, cultural safety and the organisation's Code of Conduct

Desirable

- Degree in NRM, Agriculture, Environmental Science, Project Management or a related discipline
- Formal project management accreditation such as PMP, PRINCE2 or AIPM
- Established networks across NRM, government, philanthropy, industry and Aboriginal organisations
- Experience living or working in the WA rangelands or similar remote regions
- Experience across carbon, biodiversity, climate adaptation or emerging environmental markets
- Experience with Microsoft 365 and standard project and reporting platforms, including MERIT-style grant reporting
