We are an established industrial dust and fume extraction company specialising in the supply and installation of dust extraction systems for joineries and manufacturing businesses.

Due to continued growth, we are looking for an organised, proactive and customer-focused Projects & Service Coordinator to take ownership of our installation projects from sales handover through to completion.

This is a diverse role combining project coordination, customer management, site visits, installer supervision, scheduling and purchasing.

You will become the main point of contact for our customers once a project has been handed over from our sales team, ensuring each installation is properly planned, resourced and delivered.

The Role

Working closely with our sales team and two installation technicians, you will be responsible for coordinating the day-to-day delivery of our installation projects.

Your responsibilities will include

- Receive new projects from the sales team and take ownership through to completion
- Contact customers following project handover and become their primary point of contact
- Attend customer sites to review upcoming installations and confirm site requirements
- Plan and schedule installation works
- Coordinate the daily and weekly workload of our two installation technicians
- Ensure installers understand the scope of works and expectations for each job
- Monitor project progress and ensure works remain on schedule
- Order ducting, components, equipment, consumables and other materials required for installations
- Ensure materials, equipment and access requirements are organised prior to installation
- Coordinate equipment hire, deliveries and subcontractors where required
- Maintain regular communication with customers before, during and after installation

- Proactively manage customer expectations and keep customers informed of project progress
- Identify potential issues before they impact the installation schedule
- Assist with variations and changes to project requirements
- Coordinate completion, commissioning and outstanding project items
- Escalate significant technical or commercial matters to management when required
- Assist with the coordination of service and maintenance work

About You We are looking for someone who enjoys taking responsibility and getting things organised.

You will need to be comfortable dealing with customers, tradespeople and suppliers while managing multiple jobs at different stages.

Ideally, you will have:

- Previous experience in project coordination, service coordination, construction, mechanical services, HVAC, electrical, industrial equipment or a similar field
- Strong organisational and scheduling skills
- Excellent customer communication skills
- The confidence to manage and coordinate installation technicians
- Good practical and mechanical understanding
- The ability to read and understand job scopes, drawings and technical information
- Experience ordering materials and dealing with suppliers
- Strong problem-solving skills
- The ability to prioritise multiple projects and changing requirements
- Good computer and general administration skills
- A current Australian driver’s licence

Experience specifically within dust extraction or fume extraction would be highly regarded but is not essential. Experience within HVAC, mechanical services, electrical contracting, compressed air, industrial equipment, manufacturing or commercial construction would also be highly regarded.

What We’re Looking For

This role will suit someone who doesn’t want to simply sit behind a desk.

You will regularly communicate with customers, visit manufacturing sites, work with our installers and suppliers, and take responsibility for making sure projects happen as planned.

We want someone who is proactive rather than reactive — someone who will identify what needs to happen next and organise it without needing to be constantly directed.

Most importantly, we’re looking for someone who can own the project once it has been handed over by sales and provide our customers with a professional, reliable point of contact throughout their installation.

What We Offer

- $85,000 – $95,000 + super, depending on experience
- Company vehicle or vehicle allowance
- Fuel card
- Company-paid tolls for work travel
- Full-time, permanent position
- Varied role combining office, customer and site-based work
- Opportunity to work within a specialised industrial industry
- Autonomy and responsibility for your own projects
- Support from an experienced sales and management team
- Opportunity for the position to grow as the business continues to expand

Apply If you have experience coordinating projects, trades or service teams and enjoy taking ownership of jobs from planning through to completion, we’d like to hear from you.

Please apply through SEEK with your resume and a brief cover letter outlining your relevant experience.
