Employment with Mid North Coast LHD requires candidates to hold a valid authority to work in Australia (Aust Work Rights Visa).

What you'll be doing To provide effective medical services to patients under supervision, while developing expertise in medical practice, in a complex clinical workplace in inpatients and outpatient areas in the public health organisation.

The primary purpose of a Trainee in Psychiatry is to provide psychiatry care in a complex clinical environment. This will be done under supervision appropriate to the level of training of the applicant and in line with recommendations of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (RANZCP) where this is applicable. Trainees are expected to extend their knowledge and skills in managing mental health across multiple subspecialty areas of psychiatry in order to meet the professional standards set by RANZCP.

They are required to deliver psychiatry care and mental health services in inpatients and outpatient areas.in the public health organisation. Trainees will participate as a multidisciplinary team member across key areas of mental health.
