About the role

Therapy Near Me is expanding its national psychology team and seeking Registered Psychologists, Clinical Psychologists and Provisional Psychologists across Australia. Registered and Clinical Psychologists can join as independent contractors, while Provisional Psychologists are welcome to apply for casual employment positions. This is a highly flexible prospect designed for psychologists who want to focus on clinical work without the administrative burden of running their own caseload.

You can choose when you work, how much you work, which clients you accept, and how you deliver services.

Key responsibilities

- Conduct client sessions via Telehealth, clinic appointments, or home and community visits
- Complete required clinical documentation and case notes
- Prepare reports and clinical correspondence
- Participate in case conferences and stakeholder consultations
- Accept approved billable work including travel time as appropriate
- Work with clients across various presentations including anxiety, depression, trauma, PTSD, autism, ADHD, neurodivergent clients, psychosocial disability, and complex mental health presentations
- Serve clients across multiple funding pathways including private, Medicare Mental Health Treatment Plans, NDIS, workers compensation, CTP, EAP, and organisational services

About you





Registered and Clinical Psychologists

- Current general or endorsed registration as a Psychologist with AHPRA
- Appropriate professional indemnity insurance
- Relevant checks and screening applicable to the clients you elect to work with
- Strong clinical and communication skills
- Ability to work independently
- Commitment to ethical, evidence-based and client-centred practice

Provisional Psychologists:
- Current provisional registration with AHPRA
- Completing an approved pathway toward general registration
- Meet applicable supervision and training requirements
- Solid communication and professional skills
- Committed to ethical, evidence-based and client-centred care
