About RM Therapy

RM Therapy is an allied health practice committed to providing accessible and person-centred psychological and therapeutic services. We are seeking a Registered Psychologist who shares our commitment to improving access to mental health care for individuals and families who may otherwise experience financial barriers to receiving psychological support.

This position will provide 100% online psychology sessions via telehealth, with a particular focus on making psychological services accessible to vulnerable clients and people experiencing financial hardship.

About the Role

We are looking for a psychologist who is willing and able to provide bulk-billed telehealth psychology sessions to eligible clients, where applicable under current Medicare requirements. The role is entirely remote, allowing the successful psychologist to provide sessions online from an appropriate private and professional setting.

The position operates under a 70% clinician / 30% RM Therapy contractor split for bulk-billed sessions.

Responsibilities will include

- Providing psychological assessment and intervention via telehealth
- Delivering evidence-based psychological interventions appropriate to individual client needs
- Providing accessible care to clients experiencing financial and social barriers to psychological services
- Maintaining appropriate clinical notes, documentation and treatment plans
- Completing Medicare-related documentation and correspondence where required
- Communicating with GPs and other treating professionals where clinically appropriate and with relevant consent
- Maintaining professional, ethical, privacy and record-keeping standards
- Managing clinical risk appropriately within a telehealth setting

About You

We are looking for a psychologist who:
- Holds general registration as a psychologist with AHPRA
- Holds appropriate professional indemnity insurance




- Is eligible to provide psychology services under applicable Medicare arrangements
- Is comfortable providing services entirely via telehealth
- Is willing to provide eligible sessions on a bulk-billed basis
- Is comfortable with a 70% clinician / 30% practice split
- Has strong clinical documentation and communication skills
- Is confident working independently while collaborating with a broader allied health team
- Has an interest in supporting vulnerable and financially disadvantaged members of the community
- Can provide telehealth from a confidential, secure and professional environment

Experience working with clients experiencing complex psychosocial circumstances, financial hardship, disability, trauma, anxiety, depression or other mental health concerns would be highly regarded.
