The Role

We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Purchasing Officer to join our WA team based in Malaga.

Reporting to the Logistics Supervisor, you will play a critical role in supporting our purchasing and logistics functions to ensure the timely procurement and delivery of materials, equipment and inventory required to support our projects, service teams and customer commitments.

This is a casual or contract position on full time hours for approximately 18 months.

In this role, you will:

- Coordinate the purchasing of materials, equipment and supplies
- Raise and process purchase orders, supplier invoices and receipting documentation
- Monitor inventory levels and support forecasting activities
- Manage supplier relationships and obtain accurate delivery timeframes and pricing information
- Monitor outstanding customer and supplier orders to minimise delays
- Maintain accurate product and supplier information within our ERP system
- Provide purchasing and logistics support across multiple departments and projects
- Liaise with customers and suppliers regarding order status and delivery updates




- Assist warehouse and stores operations with picking, packing and dispatch activities when required

Skills and Experience To be successful in this position, we are seeking candidates with:

- Previous experience in purchasing, procurement, logistics or supply chain operations
- Experience supporting projects, technical teams or service-based environments
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise competing demands and meet deadlines
- High attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accurate records
- Intermediate Microsoft Office skills
- Experience using ERP or inventory management systems (big plus if you are familiar with Green Tree)
- Current Australian C-Class Driver's Licence
