Pickering Automotive Group is looking for an experienced Qualified Automotive Technician / Mechanic to join our workshop team.
We are seeking a skilled technician who takes pride in quality workmanship and can confidently diagnose, service and repair a range of vehicles.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out vehicle servicing, repairs and maintenance
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults
- Perform inspections and identify required repairs
- Complete repairs efficiently and to a high standard
- Use diagnostic equipment and workshop tools
- Follow manufacturer specifications and repair procedures
- Maintain accurate job and service records
- Identify additional faults or repair requirements
- Maintain a clean and safe work area
- Work collaboratively with other technicians and workshop staff
- Follow workplace health and safety procedures
About You
- Qualified Automotive Technician / Mechanic
- Previous experience in an automotive workshop
- Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills
- Good understanding of modern vehicle systems
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail
- Reliable and punctual
- Takes pride in quality workmanship
- Good communication and problem-solving skills
- Current Australian driver's licence
